Increased Security in Operations thanks to Migration to the Cloud and M365
The Swiss air rescue service Rega is a non-profit private foundation for air rescue in Switzerland, and is supported by various patrons. The service is available around the clock, every day of the year, for those who need it. Rega provides rapid, professional medical help by air and assists people in emergencies from its 13 helicopter bases around Switzerland and three ambulance jets. Rega employs around 400 members of staff and utilizes state-of-the-art rescue helicopters and ambulance jets. Each year, Rega helps more than 11‘000 patients.
Initial Situation
Rega has started migrating various services from on-premises to Azure and Microsoft 365. The company approached a number of managed cloud service providers to ensure the smooth operation and support of these cloud services.
In the end, they settled on isolutions. Following the evaluation phase, services were set up specifically for Rega and gradually entered into operation as part of a transition phase.
Solution
