M365 Operations Engineer

This is what you get up for in the morning:

  • You automate the setup and maintenance of our customers' infrastructure, ensuring high quality and traceability of our services
  • You take over the customer environment implemented in projects (Operations Handover) and ensure a seamless transition into operations
  • You are responsible for testing and rolling out new releases in customer environments
  • You serve as one of the key contacts for recurring tasks (SOPs), document new SOPs, and ensure their implementation
  • You work with our IaC framework and actively contribute to further improvements and automation
  • You support the 2nd Level Support team as part of the 3rd Level Support (including training)
  • You create documentation, guides, and checklists, maintain the knowledge base, and manage as well as monitor changes, incidents, and issues in collaboration with external partners 

We would like you to:

  • A completed IT apprenticeship, ideally with a higher education degree (HF/FH) or currently in progress
  • Experience as a System Engineer, ideally with knowledge in Microsoft Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and exposure to complex projects and environments
  • Confident handling of Windows Server, clients, Microsoft 365, and PowerShell
  • Passion for automation and Terraform templates
  • Independent working style, customer-oriented mindset, high-quality standards, and an open, engaging personality with a passion for customer interaction
  • Fluent German and good English skills. French and/or Italian are a plus
