Internal IT is responsible for all of our employees' IT concerns - from work devices to the application landscape. We use state-of-the-art equipment, the latest technologies and tools from the cloud to provide our employees with the best possible support and generate the greatest possible business value. In this way, we help our business units and Corporate Services to make our customers and employees happy.

As Application Manager, you are responsible for the smooth further development and trouble-free operation of our internal applications. You are also the first point of contact for our employees in the event of questions, problems or new requirements. You will be responsible for the entire life cycle of a user story, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment in the productive environment. To introduce new features, you coordinate internal and external employees, partners and suppliers through workshops and training sessions. You have no reservations about configuring, experimenting or testing something yourself. To ensure that we always stay up to date and can use the latest features, you always make sure that the latest updates are installed.

This is what you get up for in the morning:

Supervision of user stories from requirements gathering to implementation according to stakeholder requirements
Customization (no code or low-code), testing and deployment of adaptations
Release management
Answering user queries and solving user queries
Troubleshooting application malfunctions to ensure that operations run as smoothly as possible
Carrying out user training and maintaining user documentation
Maintaining the applications, including upgrades and updates, in order to install them as quickly as possible
User and rights management within the applications in accordance with the specifications
License management of the applications
Coordination with external suppliers and partners

We would like you to:

Experience in a comparable position
Application-specific know-how (SNOW Platform, M365, Dynamics 365 Sales, Business Central) an advantage
Structured, independent way of working
Very good knowledge of English (dev team in Barcelona), very good knowledge of German for coordination with stakeholders
Degree in business informatics or business administration
Main working location in Bern, Zurich, or Basel, with a flexible approach to traveling within the German speaking region of Switzerland
